Best Bars in the Phi Phi Islands
Phi Phi’s evenings spread from Loh Dalum beach parties to Tonsai pubs and a polished resort lounge at Loh Ba Gao. The difference is practical: volume, boxing-ring spectacle, early closing and boat access matter as much as the cocktail menu.
Sunflower Beach Bar
Sunflower serves cocktails and beer beside cushions, hammocks and a pool table at the quieter end of Loh Dalum. Bamboo and thatch give the bar a relaxed beach setting, although music from the bay’s neighbouring party venues can still carry.
Reggae Bar
Reggae Bar puts a Muay Thai ring inside a busy village drinking room. Beer, spectator bouts and visitor matches drive the spectacle more than a particular music genre. Watching is a different proposition from volunteering to fight.
Slinky Bar
Slinky turns its Loh Dalum frontage into a late beach party with DJs, amplified dance music and fire performances. The crowd and volume rise sharply after dark; its daytime beach-bar service gives little indication of the night’s intensity.
The Dubliner Irish Pub
The Dubliner pours beer in a central Tonsai pub with sports screens and a familiar Irish-bar menu. The village room suits a game and a conversation more than a beach dance floor, while nearby nightlife keeps the surrounding lanes busy.
Api Restaurant & Bar
Api serves cocktails and sunset drinks beside Loh Ba Gao’s sand, with live music and themed evenings at SAii Phi Phi Island Village. The spacious resort setting offers a polished alternative to Tonsai’s party rooms. Boat transfers limit an unplanned late return.
