Best Hostels in Koh Lanta

Koh Lanta’s hostel bases stretch from Saladan to the southern bay of Kantiang, mixing sociable pool gardens, cabin beds and beach workshops. Distance, arrival windows and each property’s age or passport policy deserve as much attention as the dorm price.

  1. De Bra Hostel

De Bra combines dorm beds and private rooms with air conditioning, en-suite bathrooms, refrigerators and microwaves. Organised beach days and volleyball make meeting people straightforward; its position near Saladan puts the port and market closer than the southern beaches.

  2. Blanco Hostel Lanta

Blanco Lanta has air-conditioned dorm bungalows, a swimming pool, hammocks and a bar with nightly social events near Long Beach. It accepts guests aged 18–35 and retains passports during the stay. The bar closes at 23:00, although organised nights can continue elsewhere.

  3. Aha Lanta Cozy Hostel

Aha Lanta provides curtained cabin beds with reading lights, fold-out tables, lockers and charging points near Kantiang Bay. Breakfast, a shared kitchen and all-day tea and coffee make it a comfortable southern base. Pier transfers need advance arrangement.

  4. Slacklines Hostel

Slacklines has dorms, bungalows and a large outdoor common area with hammocks, board games and slacklines. The inland setting supplies space but puts beaches and restaurants about a 15-minute walk away. Guests aged 18–50 are accepted.

  5. Sanctuary Hostel – Art & Adventure

Sanctuary combines dorm beds and shared rooms with hammock terraces, workshop space and access to Long Beach. A beach bar, yoga and kayak rentals form part of the wider property. Weekly parties make this a social stay with occasional late noise.
