Dive, walk and explore the island in Koh Chang
Combine a booked dive or snorkel day with a forest-waterfall walk, the Kai Bae lookout and time on the east-coast temple grounds. Bang Bao's pier is a useful walking stop and boat departure area; long distances make this a menu of days, rather than a single route.
BB Divers (Cliff Cottage)
BB Divers teaches scuba and freediving and runs guided diving and snorkelling trips from the Koh Chang area. Its Cliff Cottage base occupies a small Bang Bao cove; book the actual departure meeting point with the operator, since boat itineraries can leave from elsewhere.
Khlong Phlu Waterfall
Khlong Phlu drops into a broad freshwater pool reached by roughly 600 metres of forest trail from the park gate. Swimming is the draw, but rangers can restrict it after heavy rain; the old upper nature loop is closed and should not be treated as an extension.
Kai Bae Viewpoint
Kai Bae's roadside lookout faces Koh Man Nai and the smaller offshore islands beyond the western shore. Morning light illuminates the islands from behind the visitor, while sunset turns the same view into silhouettes; the parking area gives direct access without a jungle trek.
Wat Salak Phet
Wat Salak Phet's colourful naga balustrades and painted Buddhist interiors stand in an east-coast village with royal-visit connections. The older temple building across the road houses a small historical collection; access to that room depends on a caretaker, rather than a guaranteed museum session.
Bang Bao Pier
Bang Bao's covered walkway connects stilt buildings, seafood restaurants and dive businesses above the bay. Much of the former fishing village now serves tourism, a visible change that the surviving boats and working departure pier make more interesting than an untouched-village story.
